New video: Beyonce “I was here”

Beyoncé selflessly donated her personal Diane Warren-penned ballad, “I Was Here,” to a greater cause–World Humanitarian Day. A video was subsequently filmed at the United Nations’General Assembly Hall before a live crowd of elites and fans.

The unconventional video begins quite dramatically; Mrs. Carter struts on stage in a form-fitting glittery white gown before belting out the emotional lyrics. A montage of deeds done by world humanitarians and destruction caused by natural disasters is shown in the background.

Ridley Scott & Associates produced the video, and Kenzo Digital directed the video.
