A CALL TO BARBECUE PUBS/RESTAURANTS/SELF PROCLAIMED CHEFS/CATERING COMPANIES/FOOD AND BEVERAGE INDUSTRY.
On Saturday, 4th of June 2011 , seven hundred Dar es Salaam residents from all walks of life gathered at the Kijitonyama Postal Grounds . Together with their families and friends, they celebrated, cheered, danced and ate at the greatest meat feast the city had ever seen. As the curtains came to a close, an excess of 1,000 kilos of beef, fish, chicken and goat had been served.
And with that “The Nyama Choma Festival “was born.
It has since turned out to be a quarterly event, with numbers of the meat lovers swelling in excess of 2,000 in the one that preceded the inaugural one held on the same venue only three months later.We have had three successful festivals so far this year, and now we would like to have the grand finale of 2012 in style.
This is a call to all barbecue/kings/queens, all restaurants that serve barbecue meat, and the self proclaimed barbecue. If you think you can serve tantalizing, succulent barbecue meat to thousands of people and would like to make a name for yourself in this business, please contact us to book a stall.
The Nyama Choma Festival Dar es Salaam 2012 grand finale is on the Saturday 1stDecember.
We would also like to welcome companies in the food and beverage industry and others to use this platform to further market their brands.
