Aftermath of eating grass:Dozens of church members fall sick

Just few days after reports that South African Pastor Lesego Daniel of Rabboni Centre Ministries made his congregation eat grass to prove a point that humans can survive on whatever they choose to eat went viral, it has been revealed that dozens of church members are now sick.

Under the instruction of Lesego during a service of at least 1,000 people in a marquee, followers dropped to the floor to eat the grass at his ministry in Garankuwa, north of Pretoria after being told it will 'bring them closer to God.'

He also ordered other congregants to slap and trample on them, tut the sleepers remain rigid and unresponsive until he ordered them to wake up.

Some people lack the basis to develop critical thinking skills, and as consequence, they are at risk of being induced to engage in this type of madness.

Lesego has not responded to the backlash, yesterday he posted on Facebook page: 'God is at work and His people are testifying right now st the farm. TO GOD BE THE GLORY.'
