A shooting has been reported in the electrical engineering building at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana, according to a statement from the school.
The shots reportedly occurred about noon ET.
It is unknown if anyone has been injured. An alert from the school asked students and faculty to shelter in place while police search the scene. One suspect has been taken into custody.
