Comedian Joan Rivers on life support
TMZ said Rivers' family would decide in the coming days whether to keep the 81-year-old on life support.
The Fashion Police star was rushed to the hospital after she stopped breathing during throat surgery on Thursday.
Her daughter, Melissa issued a statement that said:
Her condition remains serious, but she is receiving the best treatment and care possible.Rivers' drastically altered her appearance over the years — and found plenty of material for jokes. She joked during a Wednesday stand-up routine that she was aware of her mortality.
I’m 81 — I could go at any moment. I could fall over right here and you all could say, ‘I was there!’.The comedienne is known for her cutting remarks and has often come under fire for her scathing comments about fellow celebrities.
I've had so much plastic surgery, when I die they will donate my body to Tupperware.
Meanwhile, Radical Muslims and Progressives sent death wishes to Joan on Twitter. They hate her because she spoke out about Israel’s right to exist and defend themselves in the face of constant jihad attacks.
It's funny how some of us are wishing her a speedy recovery and most of us are wishing her a slow death !!
