What a lucky man....Imagine the President of the United States and his family attending your wedding.
Yesterday August 30th, president Obama, his wife, Michelle, and their daughters, Malia and Sasha, flew from Washington to New York to attend the wedding of the first family's longtime chef and friend, Sam Kass (top right), who married MSNBC host Alex Wagner (bottom right).
Kass began cooking for the Obamas when they lived in Chicago before Obama became president, and in 2009 they persuaded him to come to the White House.
Obama even attended Sam's bachelor party last week. The first family spent about six hours at the wedding.
Besides cooking for the family most weeknights, Kass also serves as senior nutrition policy adviser and executive director of the first lady's anti-childhood obesity initiative.
Kass, 34, and Wagner, 36, tied the knot Saturday at Blue Hill at Stone Barns, New York City. See more photos after the jump....
