Tips for winter hair care

1-Wear a scarf, hat or cap to protect your hair from the cold and wind. Make sure that it's not so tight where it will restrict circulation in your scalp

2-Have your ends trimmed regularly. Never underestimate the power of a good trim! The air outside is going to make your ends split and break more than usual, and trimming regularly is vital to keeping split ends contained.

3-Use a conditioner daily. The cold, dry air tends to suck moisture out of your hair, leaving your ends parched and dehydrated. This causes them to be more prone to splitting. You can fight this by employing a strict conditioning regimen.

4-Once you have your hair moist, lock in the moisture by running your hair through cold water; this will also give your hair an extra shine.

5-Don't go outside with your hair wet, you risk breakage. Your hair will freeze if it's cold enough outside and may break.

6-If you need to use a "hot" item use a leave in conditioner before using the item on your hair.

7-Avoid taking hot showers or washing your hair in hot water. Use warm or cool water instead, the heat can dry out and/or damage your hair and skin.

8-Hair products that have the word, "Replenish" on it is made to moistureize your hair.

9-Polar Bear it:-) At the end of your shower, be sure to finish with a cool rinse over your hair. This seals the outside of the hair shaft and helps lock in moisture, keeping it shiny and smooth.

10-Avoid chemicals. Don't perm or use peroxide-laden color in winter.

  1. Hey! I just wanted to ask if you ever have any trouble
with hackers? My last blog (wordpress) was hacked and I ended
up losing many months of hard work due to no data backup.
Do you have any solutions to protect against hackers?
