UEFA 2012 -Theo sends Swedes home

England moved level on points with France at the top of Group D and need just a point to make the quarter-finals after beating Sweden 3-2 in Kiev.

England led at the break through an Andy Carroll header but the game exploded in the second half as Sweden netted a quickfire double through Olof Mellberg. He nodded in his first unmarked on 49 minutes before the ball ran loose to him for his second (59).

But the introduction of Theo Walcott turned the game as he scored from the edge of the D before setting up Danny Welbeck for a wonderfully taken second.

Man of the Match: Theo Walcott -This game was lost before Theo Walcott came on for the disappointing James Milner. A goal from the edge of the box, and then a fine run which created the winner. And he was on the pitch for just 22 minutes.
