Hollywood director Tony Scott commits suicide

    
The Hollywood director,Tony Scott has committed suicide.The 68-year-old, who directed popular films including Top Gun, Beverly Hills Cop II and Enemy Of The State, died after leaping from the the Vincent Thomas Bridge at around 12.30pm on Sunday.

Investigators from the Los Angeles Police Departmen found contact information in his car, which was parked near the bridge, and a suicide note in his office-but its contents were not revealed.

A passerby who saw Scott jump from the bridge called 911. His body has been recovered from the water.

Scott was highly respected in the industry working on blockbusters with the creme of the A-list including Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, Will Smith, Denzel Washington and John Travolta.

Scott’s last film as a director was 2010’s Unstoppable. He is survived by his wife, Donna Wilson Scott, and their twin sons, Frank and Max.
