Hip-hop mogul Chris Lighty found dead in his apartment

Chris Lighty - A hip-hop mogul who managed a number of stars throughout his career including A Tribe Called Quest ,Diddy,50 Cent, Ja Rule, and Mariah Carey was found dead on Thursday morning at his home Bronx, NY from what appears to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.

According to law enforcement, 44-year-old Lighty's body was found by police around 11:30 AM in the backyard of his Bronx apartment. Lighty was pronounced dead on the scene, where a semi-automatic firearm was recovered.
The death is being investigated as a possible suicide.

According to sources close to Lighty, the hip hop mogul had been in an argument with his ex-wife and shot himself in the head. The couple got divorced last year and Lighty hadn't been the same since.

He was also having financial trouble. City National Bank sued Lighty, whose given name is Darrell, in April, saying he had overdrawn his account by $53,584 and then refused to pay the balance. The case was still pending.

Unfortunately, this is the second Hip Hop music exec to take his life in the past four years. Truly sad to see him go!
