Nigerians react to Rick Ross "Hold Me Back" video

Angry Nigerians took to Twitter and Facebook criticizing American rapper Rick Ross for depicting the country in a bad light.

The video titled “Hold Me Back” shows children reaching out for dollar bills.

The video starts with commentary about the Biafra war and then launches into a series of clips shot at different poor areas of Lagos State with scores of Nigerians chanting along the chorus with him.

Some of those who vent their anger on social media said it is too bad the way Rick Ross is showing Lagos to the global market.

However, it was not all knock for Rick Ross. Someone said ‘Rick Ross has successfully exposed the ineptitude of the Nigerian government to the outside world.

But I dont think Mr.Rick was intended to depict Nigeria in a bad light,Its just a video shot....I've seen so many videos made from the slums in US.
