SHEFFIELD Wednesday goalkeeper Chris Kirkland was assaulted on the field during last night’s Yorkshire derby against Leeds.

Kirkland had just conceded a 77th minute equalizer as Leeds came back to draw 1-1 in the Yorkshire derby when the man ran onto the pitch to celebrate and struck him in the face - sending the 31-year-old keeper to the ground.

so this is how some soccer fans celebrate after victory by punching the rival's goalkeeper?lol
