The Confederation of African Football (CAF ) announces the list of ten nominees for the 2012 African Player of the Year Award

Below is the full list :
1. Alexander Song ( Barcelona/Cameroon)
2. Andre Ayew (Marseille/Ghana)
3. Christopher Katongo (Henan Construction/Zambia)
4. Demba Ba (Newcastle United/Senegal)
5. Gervinho (Arsenal/Cote d’Ivoire)
6. Didier Drogba (Shanghai Shenhua/Cote d’Ivoire)Gervinho (Arsenal/Cote d’Ivoire)
7. John Mikel Obi (Chelsea/Nigeria)
8. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Saint Etienne/Gabon)
9. Yaya Toure (Manchester City/Cote d’Ivoire)
10. Younes Belhanda (Montpellier/Morocco)
