UEFA Champions League:Arsenal slump
The Gunners, whose trophy drought will now extend to eight years, were taught a Champions League lesson by brilliant Bayern .
The Germans were just too good for the Gunners, even if a more spirited second-half display provided a glimmer of hope.
Nothing is lost yet but they’ll have to score three away from home, their only hope is for some kind of footballing miracle in the second leg on March 13......which it won’t be easy.
Arsenal had a better chance of winning the FA Cup than the Champions League, and Wenger put his eggs in the wrong basket with the team selection last weekend.
They are nowhere near the title race and have gone out of both domestic cup competitions to Blackburn and Bradford.
This blog was... how do you say it? Relevant!! Finally I've found something that helped me. Appreciate it!
