Wyre nominated for International Reggae and World Music Awards
Dancehall artist Wyre the love child is riding high this year. After several nominations last year this year seems to have started in a similar way. Wyre has been nominated for the Best New Entertainer category at the prestigious International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRAWMA).
Wyre will be battling it out with some of reggae’s icons across the world like D Major who is one of the most celebrated artists internationally and Jamaica’s upcoming artist Chronixx.
The IRAWMA awards were established in 1982 and are aimed at acknowledging and honoring the accomplishments and contributions of reggae and music artists, including songwriters, performers, promoters and musicians.
The prestigious awarding ceremony is also committed to promoting greater participation and acceptance of Reggae, Caribbean and World Music Internationally. The event will this year be held on May 4th in Florida.
