Wearable technology: The bra designed to shock attackers

Manisha Mohan is an aeronautical engineering student at SRM University in the Indian city of Chennai.

She's a young woman in a country that was thrown into chaos following the brutal gang rape of a 23-year-old student in Delhi in December, 2012.

Together with fellow students Niladhri Basu Bal and Rimpi Tripathi, she decided to use her technical skills to try and do something to help protect women like her — they developed a bra designed to deliver a 3800kv electric shock to any would-be rapist.

The SHE (Society Harnessing Equipment) can also send a text message to a relative or friend and the local police station, with the GPS coordinates of the victim's location.

What a brave idea....congrats Manisha and her team.

    I believe everything typed was actually very reasonable.
    However, what about this? suppose you were to write a killer
    title? I am not saying your information isn't solid., however suppose you added a title that makes people desire more? I mean "Brilliant!!! Technology on the move..." is a little plain. You should peek at Yahoo's front page and see how they create
    news titles to get viewers interested. You might add a related video or a related pic or
    two to get readers interested about what you've written. In my opinion, it could make your posts a little livelier.
