Man beats son to death, claims he doesn't look like him

The young boy Mwaru Lunard Sabil who was knocked unconscious by his father and admitted to Wete hospital, Pemba, has passed away.

The man who is a resident of Junguni Gando, Pemba, reportedly beat his nine-year-old son to death, claiming he doesn't look like him.

According to doctors, Lunard died due to severe injuries.

The father who is 39 has been arrested and he will appear in court on Monday.
