Rumor: Zimbabwean president, Robert Mugabe has collapsed
The security at the State House has reportedly been tightened, a day after fears for Mugabe's health surfaced.
The rumors had circulated by insider in the ruling Zanu-PF party known as Baba Jukwa., who uses a Facebook page to expose corruption in the regime.
Jukwa said Mr.Mugabe had 'gone on his final visit' to his doctor.
There have been rumors for several years that Mugabe, who turns 90 next month, has prostate cancer.
However, Mugabe's press secretary, George Charamba, had denied that the President was ill, said Mugabe is currently on his annual leave and expected back in Zimbabwe in mid-January.
Also,according to the Daily News, Mugabe left for the Far East last week amid growing tension over the flagging economy and failure to align statutes to the new Constitution.
Mr Mugabe had previously offered a $US300,000 reward for the unmasking of Baba Jukwa.
