Boko Haram strikes in Adamawa, kills 9, burn down property

 
Suspected Boko Haram Islamist militants yesterday night attacked settlers at Kirchinga, Michika, Shuwari and Shuwa district all in Adamawa state and burned down several cars, houses, shops and even a First Bank Complex.

The gunmen also burned down 3 catholic churches in Shuwari as well as a seminary school (Saint Joseph Minor Seminary) in Shuwa.

The men came in nine Toyota Hilux vans, firing guns and throwing explosives. 9 people have so far been confirmed dead, including a staff of Bank of Agriculture.

The attack came a day after they stomped the Federal Government college in Yobe state and killed atleast 43 young students.

Boko Harams have killed more than 200 people so far this month.
