Lupita Nyong'o becomes Lancôme's first black spokesperson

This year is just for Lupita.......

After becoming the first black African to win an Oscar gong, she is making history again as Lancôme's first black ambassador.

The Oscar-winning actress was announced yesterday, Thursday April 3, as the new ambassadress of french cosmetic giant company, Lancôme.

The 31-year-old star said she's proud to represent the French brand and the idea that beauty should not be dictated, but should instead be an expression of a woman's freedom to be herself.

Lancôme ad campaigns featuring Lupita will start airing in September.
