DIY: ginger and coconut oil sugar scrub

Body scrubs are great! They leave skin feeling fresh and smooth as well as healthy and glowing by exfoliating off old layers of dead skin.

First-hand that organic and natural beauty really works and is better than the toxic chemical laden products that so many of us have used over the years. Here we go...

Ingredients:
1/4 cup coconut oil
1 tbsp. ginger (coarsely chopped)
1/4 cup oil (whichever you prefer)
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup kosher salt
1-4 drops essential oil (whichever you prefer)

Directions:
Heat the ginger and coconut oil in a small saucepan over low heat for 5-10 minutes (until transformed into liquid).
Remove from heat and press through cheesecloth or through coffee filter.
Mix warm oils with oil (whichever you prefer).
Stir in sugar and salt.
Scent with esstial oil of your choice.
Apply to body and massage into skin.
Rinse.
