Man murders his rich dad over cut allowance
Spoiled manchild Gilbert Jr.(30) reportedly went to his parents’ multimillion-dollar Beekman Place apartment and asked if he could have a word alone with his father.
While father and son were reportedly arguing about their issues, Thomas Jr sent his mother out of the house to buy him a sandwich so she wouldn't witness what he was planning to do.
According to reports, Thomas, who attended $50,000-a-year school, shot his 70 year old father once in the head with a 40-caliber Glock 22 handgun and callously staged the murder scene to appear as if it was a suicide, placing the gun on his father’s chest and putting the dead man’s left hand over it
Gilbert Jr's body was discovered by his wife, Shelley Gilbert who then called police and told them she'd left her son with his father before she left the house that afternoon. She then gave the police her son's address.
The NYPD arrested Gilbert Jr. later at his own home and charged him with murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
