It's very sad as we all loved she got better after years of struggling with drug addition. She was already recovered and gained a lot of weight, even started running a drugs-free foundation to help in eradication and sensitization of drug abuse among the youth.....so why started doing it again?
The Na Wewe Milele singer has been denied Methadone, a drug used by ex-addicts as a pain reliever and treatment to heroin addiction, because every time her urine gets checked shows positive, meaning she is still into drugs.
Reportedly, she is now dating ex-boyfriend's best friend who is selling and doing drugs...but why Ray C?
Most drug rehab treatment and recovery programs focus on making positive changes, probably she thought she can use again without falling back into addiction.
The sassy Tanzanian beauty explained before that she had to buy drugs and hell broke loose when she couldn’t do without them, at one point sold her house and property in order to get money to buy drugs. She has been admitted to hospital several times because of abusing drugs.
Ray C was introduced into the murky world of drug abuse by her singer ex-boyfriend and being a blonde on matters drugs, was unaware that he abused drugs when they hooked up.
She was born in 15th may in Tanzania, Ray c is popularly known for bongo music R&B and taarab.
Before venturing into music, she worked as a presenter for the Dar el salaam based Clouds FM radio station. She released her debut album “Mapenzi Yangu” in 2003.
She has toured the world and her addiction started during her stay in Kenya three years ago.
