NFL player killed himself!

25 year old NFL's Tennessee Titans wide receiver ,O.J. Murdock - killed himself Monday morning in front of his high school in Tampa, Florida.

Murdock was found in his car in front of Middleton High School, his alma mater, at 8:30 a.m.He was transported to Tampa General Hospital in critical condition and pronounced dead at 10:43 a.m. Eastern time.

Murdock did not report to training camp last Friday with the rest of the team,The tragic news comes just one day after the Titans placed Murdock on their "did not report".Titans head coach Mike Munchak indicated Murdock was absent from training camp for "personal reasons."

He spent the last year battling back from an Achilles injury as he prepared for this year’s training camp.


The following NFL players also tragically died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound:
Junior Seau
On May 2, 2012, was found dead in his home from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He played for the San Diego Chargers, New England Patriots and Miami Dolphins. He was 43.

Ray Easterling
On April 19, 2012, Ray Easterling, a former player for the Falcons,was found dead in his home from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He was 62.

Dave Duerson
On February 17, 2011, a former player for the Chicago Bears, committed suicide.He fatally shot himself in the chest, but before he killed himself he sent a text message to his loved ones stating that he wanted his brain to be left to science. Duerson also played for the New York Giants and Phoenix Cardinals.He was 50

Andre Waters
On November 20, 2006, an NFL player who spent most of his career with the Philadelphia Eagles, was found in his house dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Waters also played for the Arizona Cardinals.

Jeff Alm
On December 14, 1993, former Houston Oiler's defensive tackle grabbed a gun from his car and shot himself. Alm committed suicide shortly after he crashed his car on an exit ramp because he was distraught over the death of his best friend. He was speeding and lost control of his car. His best friend was thrown from his car and killed.He was 25.
