Aiming for gold turns into a ''Fairy Tale'' — One of the most popular faces in the British Olympic team, Tom Daley and and his diving partner Pete Water field, have faced disappointment.
Eighteen-year-old Daley was aiming to secure gold to go with the World and European Championships he has won since bursting on to the scene five years ago.

Diving star Tom Daley reacted angrily this evening after he was targeted by a Twitter troll who claimed the teenager had let his late father down by missing out on a medalTom was even quoted saying 'I'll win gold for dad, it was his dream'' Unfortunately he and his partner,Pete Waterfield failed to win a medal, coming fourth in the synchronised 10m platform final.

It all started so well for the British pair but ended with 4th position.Surely you aim for gold and if you get less then at least you tried your best.

After the final, Daley tweeted:

It's not over till it's over! Delay will now set his sights on individual gold.......I wish he wins a nice gold medal on a plate just for his father, Rob Daley, who died in May 2011 after a five-year battle against a brain tumour..
