Sikh Temple Shooting USA: Armed police investigate the Sikh Temple in Oak Creek, Wisconsin
It's only been a few weeks since Colorado Movie Theater Shooting happened , Another shooting during Sunday services at a Sikh temple left at least seven people dead, including a gunman who was shot by an officer who engaged him in fire immediately after arriving on the scene , and at least three critically wounded, police and hospital officials said.

Four people were shot inside the Sikh Temple of Wisconsin in suburban Milwaukee and three outside, including a gunman killed by a police officer, who was critically injured in the exchange of fire, said Greenfield Police Chief Bradley Wentlandt.

A police officer responded and was shot multiple times. The officer was able to return fire, shooting and, in the words of police, putting the suspect down.

The officer was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive. He is described as a 20-year veteran with tactical experience.

One of the witness said an unknown number of gunmen walked into the kitchen of the Sikh Temple of Wisconsin in Oak Creek about 10:30 a.m. CDT (11.30 a.m. EDT) and started shooting.

A man who said his father had been wounded in the incident reported that there had been multiple shooters of Caucasian descent, quoting people inside the temple. "It was a very coordinated thing,"
