The Welsh singer,Katherine Jenkins has furiously scotched rumours that she had an affair with David Beckham.

The 32-year-old hit back in reaction to internet rumours linking her to the footballer — and Beckham's spokesman said: "Unfortunately, we have to deal with this type of nonsense on Twitter. One minute David is dead, then more scurrilous rumours, there is not one jot of truth to any of it."

Angry ... opera star posted a series of tweets to her 230,427 followers...
Twitter is a regular source of fake celebrity rumors. If you stop every time a dog barks, then your road will never end......
