Should we get a DNA test before engaging in relationships:A woman finds out her late husband was her father & have 3 kids together!!
Valerie Spruill married her father.
Valerie Spruill, of Doylestown, Ohio, recently contacted the Akron Beacon Journal to reveal that she had accidentally married her father.
Valerie did not know her husband, Perry Spruill, was also her father until his death in 1998 after a brief illness at the age of 60, when a relative told her the truth.
She finally learned the truth about her marriage and confirmed the relationship with a DNA test after finding his hairs on a brush in their room.
To make matters worse, she says that most people in her small town knew, but apparently felt that she didn’t need to know.
Valerie and her husband/father had three kids, who are also his grandchildren. Percy met Valerie’s mother when she was only 15 and no one is sure how many kids they had.
Valerie says she’s telling her story now in hopes to find any possible siblings she may have. However, one brother asked her not to go public, because it could bring other skeletons out of the closet.
Despite all that, she doesn't hate her late husband/father

because people who hate don’t get into heaven. And if you don’t make it into heaven when the time comes, she notes, you can’t hit the rewind button and try again. I want this to be more of an inspirational story. If I’ve come through this, anyone can come through anything through the help of the Lord.
Valerie added that she is in therapy:
I’ve been getting great help because, God knows, if I hadn’t of went and aired out how I feel, I wouldn’t have made it, because I would have continued to stress out about this problem. Its so sad but never regret anything that has happened in your life, it cannot be changed, undone or forgotten so take it as a lesson learned and move on.
