Mikel Obi racially abused on Twitter after a 2–2 draw against Juve,He deletes his account
The match ended 2-2 and racially insensitive Chelsea fans blamed Mikel for giving the ball away with a careless pass 10 minutes from the final whistle and Juventus took full advantage of the opportunity to equalize.
The 25-year-old apologised immediately afterwards, saying:

Chelsea FC officials said they have informed the police after being made aware of the unacceptable nature of the abuse Mikel had endured:
We've been made aware of racist tweets targeted at Mikel which are totally unacceptable, disgusting and abhorrent. We've informed the police and support taking the strongest possible action.Regardless the race,origin,colour or gender! ppl make mistakes and no one is perfect......
