At the annual White House Correspondents’ Dinner held last night, April 28, 2013, US President Barack Obama joked about a number of things including Jay Z and wife Beyonce’s controversial trip to Cuba. Obama joked:
Some things are beyond my control; For example, this controversy about Jay-Z going to Cuba. It’s unbelievable. I’ve got ninety-nine problems, and now Jay-Z’s one!’
He also threw some punches at the media, CNN in particular, when he said:
I admire their commitment to covering all sides of the story, just in case one of them happens to be accurate.
